چکیده

We theoretically study a stabilization mechanism of the skyrmion crystal in centrosymmetric magnets with bilayer structure. show that interplay between layer-dependent staggered Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction arises from absence local inversion symmetry and interlayer exchange gives rise to plethora multiple-$Q$ states including quantized topological number. By performing simulated annealing for triangular-lattice model under an external magnetic field, we demonstrate forms triangular-shaped crystals different helicities each layer owing interaction. Although relative positions core are depending on sign interactions, phases robustly appear both ferromagnetic antiferromagnetic interactions. also find another two triple-$Q$ uniform scalar chirality but without number low- high-field regions. Especially, low-field state exhibits opposite crystal, which is not found single-layer system. Our results indicate lack lattice structure key ingredient induce spin textures magnets.

Phase-space Berry phases in chiral magnets: Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and the charge of skyrmions

The semiclassical motion of electrons in phase space x = (R,k) is influenced by Berry phases described by a six-component vector potential A = (AR,Ak). In chiral magnets, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions induce slowly varying magnetic textures (helices and skyrmion lattices) for which all components of A are important, inducing effectively a curvature in mixed position and momentum space...

Renormalization-group approach to quantum Fisher information in an XY model with staggered Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction

We investigate the quantum Fisher information and quantum phase transitions of an XY spin chain with staggered Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction using the quantum renormalization-group method. The quantum Fisher information, its first-derivatives, and the finite-size scaling behaviors are rigorously calculated respectively. The singularity of the derivatives at the phase transition point as a f...

Controlling skyrmion helicity via engineered Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions.

Single magnetic skyrmion dynamics in chiral magnets with a spatially inhomogeneous Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) is considered. Based on the relation between DMI coupling and skyrmion helicity, it is argued that the latter must be included as an extra degree of freedom in the dynamics of skyrmions. An effective description of the skyrmion dynamics for an arbitrary inhomogeneous DMI co...

Wide-Range Probing of Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya Interaction

The Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) in magnetic objects is of enormous interest, because it generates built-in chirality of magnetic domain walls (DWs) and topologically protected skyrmions, leading to efficient motion driven by spin-orbit torques. Because of its importance for both potential applications and fundamental research, many experimental efforts have been devoted to DMI inves...

Hund's Rule-Driven Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Interaction at 3d-5d Interfaces.

Using relativistic first-principles calculations, we show that the chemical trend of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) in 3d-5d ultrathin films follows Hund's first rule with a tendency similar to their magnetic moments in either the unsupported 3d monolayers or 3d-5d interfaces. We demonstrate that, besides the spin-orbit coupling (SOC) effect in inversion asymmetric noncollinear mag...
